“I was very surprised when I saw how many distinctions I got, but now I am very proud of myself; I worked so hard, all the late nights and hardly sleeping during the exams paid off,” said Harripersadh.
She added that her secret to success was working through past papers, because they showed her how the paper would be set out.
“Studying was my escape from family issues and stress,” she said.
Harripersadh will study towards an accounting qualification at Wits.
