Become a Cupcake Angel

September is International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, so why not show your support and become a Cupcake Angel?

Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer will host South Africa’s fourth National Cupcake Day on September 26, across 70 malls in the country.

You can show your support by becoming a Cupcake Angel and donating R10 to receive a free cupcake.

The event will also be held at the East Rand Mall and Mall@Carnival, from 7am till late.

Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer is a non-profit company, which raises awareness about the early warning signs of childhood cancer.

The group also helps to raise funds for children who are fighting the illness.

Through their Cupcakes of Hope events, volunteers, sponsors and bakers share their love for baking for this great cause, which makes the events the sweetest way to save a life.

Sandy Cipriano, the founder of Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer, said that, with the funds raised so far, they have been able to assist more than 350 children.

People who want to bake cupcakes for the day, or make any donations, can contact East Rand Mall coordinator Michelle Larsen on 083 797 8585, or by email at admin@cupcakesofhope.org, or Mall@Carnival coordinator Maria da Silva on 082 486 4590, or by email at luz@live.co.za.
