Kids paint the town pink with song
Several children from the Benoni Junior School Choir went on an excursion across the town for Valentine’s Day.
The group, under the guidance of school staff members Nicole Lewthwaite and Lyn Frost, visited Eddy House, Benoni Police Station, Benoni Fire Station and the Department of Education.
The children were given the opportunity to sing several songs they had practised.
“Many of the places warmly welcomed the children, in fact Eddy House had a notice displayed for the upcoming event and had biscuits and tea for all to enjoy,” Lewthwaite said.
