Use water wisely amid heatwave, says Rand Water

Rand Water is urging all consumers within its area of supply to use water wisely.

“The heatwave conditions being experienced in Gauteng, the North West and Mpumalanga provinces, and forecast for the rest of the week, has already resulted in high demand and is placing a strain on our bulk water supply network,” said Rand Water media relations manager Justice Mohale.

“Water saving in periods such as these is critical and individual efforts does make a difference.”
