Rape of a minor
Sizwe Dladla (23) was charged with rape of a minor. The accused was found guilty on November 22 and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment on November 27. Dladla will be listed on the National Register for Sexual Offenders (NRSO). The NRSO records the names of those found guilty of sexual offences against children and mentally disabled people.

Robbery
Teddy Mlungisi Maphanga (26), Siyabulela Mbalane (23) and Dingaan Israel Matlatsi (24) were charged with robbery with aggravating circumstances. The trio were found guilty of the charge and were sentenced on November 27 by magistrate Mitzi Schutte to 15 years imprisonment each.
Theft and illegal immigrant
Maoeng Malobeyene (28) was sentenced on four charges of theft and charged with being an illegal immigrant. The Lesotho national was found guilty and sentenced by magistrate Ian Cox on all charges on November 20. Malobeyene was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment for the theft charges and two years imprisonment for being an illegal immigrant.
