Northmead Baptist Church needs help to help others
The church intends on handing out the buckets on December 12, so donations are needed before then.
NPO Northmead Baptist Church (NBC) is reaching out to the community this Christmas to ask for donations so they can help to bring Christmas cheer to the less fortunate.
“This has been a very tough year for many. We find that a number of people have lost their jobs or gone through major salary cuts,” said pastor at the church Jason Ganas.
“At NBC, we give out buckets that are filled with non-perishable food items annually to many who live on the street or are jobless.
“Unfortunately, this year we are unable to fill these buckets due to lack of funds and that is why we are reaching out to you in [hopes] that you will partner with us and donate any food items (non-perishable) or cash donations so that we can fill up these buckets.”
