Donations needed towards making elderly’s Christmas party memorable

The organisation aims to help old and disabled people in her community.

A Putfontein NPO, Samukelo Esihle Community Project, is seeking donations of Christmas gifts for the elderly residents of Mayfield on December 10.

Samukelo Tshabalala, the founder of the NPO, said she hosts the party every year as a way of bringing joy to the elderly and to commemorate the month of giving.

“The donations will help put a smile on the faces of 110 grandmothers and grandfathers who are in need and always taking care of their families,” said Tshabalala.

Tshabalala provides free fitness training sessions for the elderly in the community who want to keep healthy during their golden years.
