Possession of drugs
Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) members arrested seven suspects in Actonville, Olifantsfontein, Kempton Park and Daveyton between April 23 and 26, recovering Mandrax, heroin, crystal meth and cocaine.

Hijacked vehicles recovered
Members found a white MAN truck on Fourth Road, Crystal Park, and recovered a white Nissan UD truck on Barry Marais Road, Boksburg.

Further policing led to the recovery of a white Ford Ranger on the R21, between the Pomona and R23 off-ramps.

Rapid Response Services (RRS)
RRS members, including the Flying Squad, and the K9 and Highway Patrol units throughout Gauteng arrested 138 suspects between April 19 and 25.

Members participated in various concentrated operations, arresting 62 suspects on charges of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, murder, theft, possession of suspected stolen property, business robbery, common robbery, property damage, domestic violence and contravening the immigration laws.

They recovered 50 hijacked and stolen motor vehicles, accompanied by eight arrests.
Further policing saw the confiscation of eight unlicensed firearms and 10 arrests on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm.

Clamping down on the sale and use of drugs, RRS members arrested 58 suspects on charges of drug possession, confiscating heroin, dagga, cocaine, Mandrax and crystal meth.
