Lindelani residents get house keys

Those still waiting to receive houses are urged to remain patient as the city strives to fulfil its promises.

Isaac Rantho (right) was one of 16 Lindelani residents to receive the keys to his new home in Alliance Extn 7, Daveyton, on October 16. The homes are part of the Ekurhuleni metro’s housing development programme, which has completed more than 1 600 structures since 2019. MMC for Human Settlements Kgopelo Hollo urged the new homeowners to keep ownership of their properties because it is a roof over their heads and aids in restoring their dignity.
