It has been four years since the Trefoil Guild hosted its popular monthly pop-up movie at the Benoni Library but the organisation is reviving this delightful afternoon outing.
Bring your picnic baskets and light refreshments to the newly renovated Blue Forest Hall, at 65 Van Rooyen Street, Rynfield on November 29 to enjoy an exclusive screening of Anthony Hopkins’ 2023 true life drama One Life.
The movie tells the tale of Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, a young London broker who, in the months leading up to World War II, rescued over 600 children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia.
The film will start rolling at 14:00 with ticket prices set at R50 per person.
The movie features sub-titles.
Safe and secure parking is available and the screening will conclude before sunset.
