Stolen goods
Two men aged 35 were arrested at a mall in Ivory Park after they were found with eight large boxes containing goods from PEP.
The clothing valued at R40 000 was handed back to the outlet.

Drugs
A 27-year-old living in the Mandela informal settlement, Katlehong, was found with meth.
Stolen vehicles
The Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) recovered five abandoned or stolen vehicles:
• A silver VW Polo found on Main Reef Road, Rynsoord, reported as stolen in Benoni.
• Two truck trailers, reported as stolen in Bedfordview, were recovered at a plot in Putfontein.
• Two white Shacman trucks, reported as stolen in Actonville, were found abandoned at a truck stop on High Road, Pomona.

Rapid Response Services (RRS)
Units under the RRS banner did routine operations across Gauteng and arrested 81 people between February 21 and 27.
BFS officers, K9 units and Highway Patrol arrested 39 people on charges of assault common with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of suspected stolen property, burglary, theft, bribery, contravening the Immigration Act, house robbery, pointing a firearm, common robbery, rape, murder and fraud.
Eight arrests accompanied 27 recovered hijacked and stolen vehicles.
One person was arrested and an unlicensed firearm recovered.
Further policing led to 42 arrests on charges for possession of drugs with the intent of selling.
Heroine, dagga, cocaine, Mandrax and meth were confiscated.
