Community donates to the Benoni SPCA
A lively market featured vendors selling everything from toys to plants, handmade crafts, boerie rolls, hamburgers, and more.
Children eagerly searched for chocolate treasures and danced outside the Handy Hardware and Paint Centre on April 12 during a fun-filled Easter egg hunt hosted by the Avenues Residents Association, Super Cops, Handy Hardware and Boxmaster SA.
The event, aimed at spreading joy and fostering community connection, saw families gather for a day of festivities and giving back.
Organiser Annamarie Jonker said the event also served as a charity drive to support the Benoni SPCA, with attendees encouraged to bring donations of pet food, blankets, and other supplies for the local animal shelter.
