Hell Razor MCC donates food and other supplies to war veterans

The roar of engines echoed through Railway Avenue at around 09:20 on May 25 as a convoy of bikers and a truck loaded with groceries made its way to Griffith Court, home to several war veterans and members of the Legion.
Dressed in their club’s biking regalia, members of the Hell Razor MCC arrived in large numbers to hand over tons of groceries to the veterans, in a show of solidarity and support as part of their club’s initiative, Razor Aid.
Before offloading the parcels from the truck into a designated room, the bikers took time to gather and socialise with the residents, who were visibly happy to see them.
Hell Razor of the year, Johannes Kruger said that this year they chose to support the war veterans, who themselves are also part of a motorcycle club, after recognising a real need.

“We donated 150 food parcels, which include food, toiletries, and cleaning materials. The parcels will be split among the residents, and the rest will be distributed to others who come to their premises daily for food support,” said Kruger.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Stuart Drennan expressed their gratitude for the generous donation and handed over a certificate of appreciation to Kruger.
