A 47-year-old man was shot and killed outside a business on Golden Drive at around 09:50 on July 30.
According to Benoni SAPS spokesperson Captain Nomsa Sekele, the man was parked outside when two men emerged from a white BMW and fired shots at him while he was inside his red Ford bakkie.
Sekele said the men fled the scene in their getaway vehicle.
The victim reportedly sustained several gunshots and was declared dead at the scene.
Police are investigating a case of murder.
