Foundation brings Christmas cheer to Mokgoba community

Children enjoyed a variety of activities, including games, a fun photoshoot, delicious meals, and sweet treats.

The Eyethu Foundation spoiled its community members at its first annual Christmas party, held at the Assemblies of God Church in Mokgoba on December 13.

The organisation donated gifts, including toys and soccer balls, as well as clothing and school shoes.

“This marked the Foundation’s very first Christmas celebration,” said Eyethu’s founder, Nilza Linda.

“It was a joyful and memorable occasion. We were honoured to welcome parents and guardians from the community who brought their children to celebrate with us.”

The children enjoyed a variety of activities, including games, a fun photoshoot, delicious meals, and sweet treats.

“The atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and the true spirit of Christmas. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our generous donors, including Kwa-Victor Tavern, Mhlongo Supermarket, Khulamina Trading, and Mzesh Tavern.

“Your support made this initiative possible and had a meaningful impact on the lives of the children we serve. A special word of thanks to the principal of Myezane Primary School, who delighted the children by taking on the role of Father Christmas, adding an extra touch of magic to the day.”

Linda also thanked the Eyethu Foundation staff members for making the day memorable.

“This event would not have been a success without your commitment.”
