SPARK Rynfield celebrates Valentine’s Day

Dressed in red and white colours, learners took part in a special Friendship Day initiative focused on promoting kindness.

SPARK Rynfield learners celebrated Valentine’s Day in a meaningful way this year, combining the celebrations with an important message about friendship and scholar safety.

Dressed in red and white colours, learners took part in a special Friendship Day initiative focused on promoting kindness, inclusion and standing firmly against bullying.

The event encouraged learners to reflect on the importance of supporting one another and creating a safe, respectful school environment. As part of the activities, learners placed painted handprints on a wall as a symbol of their commitment to being “buddies, not bullies”.

In addition, they recited and signed the school’s anti-bullying creed, pledging to treat their peers with respect and compassion. The signed creed will be displayed at the school as a daily reminder of the values learners have committed to uphold.
