A big, big shout out to Mapule, a cashier at the Shell petrol station in Pioneer Drive, Benoni.
On Tuesday afternoon, I made a small purchase in the shop and absent-mindedly left my wallet on the counter.
After searching high and low for my wallet at work and home, I recalled that the last time that I had used my wallet was on Tuesday afternoon.
I returned to the Shell garage early on Friday morning and upon enquiring about my wallet, Mapule asked me what my surname was and immediately handed my wallet to me with everything intact.
It was Mapule who had served me on Tuesday afternoon and had the foresight to safeguard my wallet.
Once again, Mapule a big thank you to you.
