Dog lovers are in for a tail-wagging treat this Love your Pet Day, on February 20, as the Benoni SPCA invites the community to a heartwarming sunset walk at Homestead Dam.

Starting at 17:30, the event promises an evening filled with fresh air and plenty of happy barks, all in support of a good cause.

Proceeds from the walk will go towards the vital work done by the Benoni SPCA in caring for animals in need.

For just R10 per human and R20 per dog, pet parents and their furry companions can enjoy a relaxing stroll around the dam while celebrating the unconditional love their four-legged friends bring into their lives.

Organisers are encouraging dog enthusiasts to invite a neighbour or friend to join in on the fun and make it a special outing.
