Why, oh, why, is it that these days we suddenly come upon road works/maintenance with no prior warning?
This morning, on Tom Jones Street, at the corner of Prince’s Avenue, the road is blocked off, but there is no warning beforehand, so that you actually know you will have to turn into Prince’s and up Rothsay Street if you want to get any further.
This is not unusual, in fact, it is the norm.
When is someone going to take responsibility and when are authorities going to actually do their jobs and enforce safety measures?
Must someone or 100 die before we see responsible governance?
