Get your house in order

I would like to respond to the article published in the newspaper dated September 30, headlined “Use less water or pay”.

This is all good and I understand the circumstances, but travel through the streets of Benoni and see the amount of water leakages that are running for weeks and sometimes for months.

I do report some of these leakages to the authorities, but it still takes them weeks to repair.

So I would suggest that before they start charging us, they need to get their house in order.

My question is: Who is paying for their leaks?

I take it we do.
