The annual South African Sailing Inter Schools Regatta was held at the Victoria Lake Club (VLC) at Germiston Lake recently.

Benoni’s sailors acquainted themselves well with Benoni High School bringing home the overall High Schools Trophy after several years as runners-up.

Matthew Inglis, a pupil at Ashton International College, was the individual winner in the High School Division and Duncan Hawksworth, sailing for Pridwin, took the winner’s trophy in the Primary Schools Division.

All of these sailors sail and train at Benoni Sailing Club on Homestead Dam.
