Get ready for Ghoema’s 2014
The cream of the Afrikaans recording industry will gather for the 13th annual Ghoema Afrikaans Music Awards, which will take place in the Big Top Arena, at Carnival City, on Sunday, April 13.
The Ghoema Awards are a prestigious celebration of the Afrikaans language and its music and the evening combines the awards ceremony and great performances from some of South Africa’s leading performers.
Performing this year are Elvis Blue, Kurt Darren, Riana Nel, Joshua na die Reen, Corlea Botha, Jay, Joe Foster, Burgert Botha and many more.
Ghoemas will be awarded in 25 categories, to honour accomplishments over the past year.
The Ghoema Awards evening will be televised on kykNET, at 8pm on Sunday, April 20, so why not join the live audience? Who knows, you may see yourself on TV.
The awards for 2014 start at 5pm.
