Crossing borders with The Kings and Queens of Comedy Africa
Blu Blood’s Kings and Queens of Comedy is one of the country’s leading comedy brands and is set to take the continent by storm, at Emperors Palace, on Tuesday, September 23.
For the first time on a South African stage the royal court proudly presents The Kings and Queens of Comedy Africa.
Presented in association with Kaya fm 95.9, Jozi’s home of the Afropolitan, the show will be performed on the eve of Heritage Day, in the Centre Court.
Wild child and African diva Kuli Roberts will be the host as 10 of Africa’s best comedians come together on stage for one night only.

The kings and queens have readied their comical armour and sharpened their witty swords.
The Royal Council of Laughter has declared all of Africa a comedy monarch, with some of the continent’s brightest and funniest comedians set take to laughter and hilarity to the next level.
It is all or nothing, with every big comedy name from across the African continent on one bill.
This side-splitting comedy line-up of local and international royals comprises South Africa’s Kagiso Lediga, Tumi Morake, Tshepo Mogale, Chester Missing and Conrad Koch, Uganda’s David Kibuka and Pablo Kimuli, Nigeria’s Basket Mouth, Zimbabwe’s Carl Joshua Ncube and Malawi’s Daliso Chaponda.
Also guaranteed to get the crowd on their feet is a special performance by a mystery Kaya fm 95.9 DJ, who will also rock the party through to Heritage Day.
