Dan Patlansky will rock the stage at Emperors

Legendary South African blues rock guitarist Dan Patlansky will rock people’s socks off at Emperors Palace on June 1.

Patlansky was voted male artist of the year 2015 by Blues and Soul magazine, four out of 10 best rock guitarists in the world by Total Guitar magazine in December 2015 and one of the top 20 blues rock artists by Blues Magazine.

He will be performing with a full band.

His last two albums, Dear Silence Thieves (2014) and Introvertigo (2016), were both voted the number one blues rock album in the world by Blues Rock Review USA, making him the first artist to receive this accolade twice.

Introvertigo, Patlansky’s eighth studio album, was produced by South African producer Theo Crous.

He wrote the album over the course of two years, using his life experiences as inspiration.

Patlansky was the special guest on Joe Satriani’s UK Shockwave Tour that included 25 shows in 10 countries in November 2015.
