Settlers’ high tea honours sponsors

Natal Settlers Memorial Homes treated their long-term sponsors to a high tea party to show their appreciation for their kindness towards the Home.

NATAL Settlers Memorial Homes hosted a high tea for their long term sponsors to show their appreciation to the donors for their continued support.

Belinda Naidoo, general manager for the Homes, said this was the first time the Home had hosted the event and hoped it might be an annual activity. She said it was important for donors to see the impact their donations made on the home and for them to show their appreciation. In a short presentation, Naidoo explained the various projects the Home was able to initiate and continue, because of donor support.

“It is not just financial boosts that really impact on the Home, but also the kind projects such as cupcakes coming through to residents on a Saturday afternoon. This was a way to acknowledge them and say thank you, your contribution is in good hands that is why we outlined the projects,” Naidoo added.
