Jewish women meet

Great speakers presented talks at the Union of Jewish Women's national interim meeting.

THE Union of Jewish Women Durban hosted the national interim meeting of the Union of Jewish Women of South Africa at Durban Jewish Centre and the Durban Holocaust Centre on 14 and 15 March.

Robyn Lenn, president of the International Council of Jewish Women, Lynne Raphaely, president of the UJW of SA and delegates from the National Executive Committee and branches around South Africa attended the event.

Guest speakers, including Cindy Norcott from the Robin Hood Foundation, Kayli Vee Levitan from The Street Store, Dr Thandeka Mazibuko, CEO and founder of Sinomusa Nothando Community Development – early cancer detection, Raymond Perrier from the Dennis Hurley Centre, Myra Goldenbaum from ICJW Interfaith, Sha Coetzee from My Life, a dream builders' initiative and advocate Omashani Naidoo, entertained the women with interesting presentations.
