Elvis entertains at NMR
Elvis fan, Andrea Giglio, performed in a tribute show to the music legend at a fundraiser for the SA Legion on Saturday.
MEMBERS of the SA Legion Durban and District Club as well as other Elvis fans enjoyed a tribute show to Elvis and other music legends, at Natal Mounted Rifles on Saturday night.
The audience enjoyed music from legends like Elvis, Neil Diamond, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and many more.
Andrea Giglio entertained at the event. Andrea was born in 1970, and was seven when Elvis died.
“I was too young to know who this incredible human being was but how my life was changed four years later when I found one of my mother’s Elvis tapes and listened to him for the first time! It had all his popular movie songs on it, and when I heard his voice for the first time that was me hooked! Now at 46, I am hooked even more,” he said.
Andrea has been singing most of his life and has performed in Elvis shows over the past 24 years.
