Social morning for a good cause

The women enjoyed a morning of meaningful fun, food and pampering in the name of charity and hope.

THE 11th Annual Sunflower Fund Ladies Breakfast was a sold out affair that saw 200 women gather at the Coastlands Musgrave Hotel this month.

Dressed in their brightest ‘Summer and Sunflower’ themed ensembles, the guests enjoyed a morning of meaningful fun, food and pampering in the name of charity and hope.

The two inspirational guest speakers of the morning were Carol Howard author of Beyond Limitations and Wendy Hind of Chata Romano.

Funds raised from the breakfast will help The Sunflower Fund cover the recruitment costs to grow a healthy, effective, ethnically diverse South African Bone Marrow Registry (SABMR) of committed donors. The Fund plays an active role in the process of giving hope of life through blood stem cell transplants.
