The designer hopefuls that came from far and wide included Kathija Khan from Morningside, Aaliya Randeree from Musgrave and Michaela Pollard from Durban North.

ETHEKWINI Municipality recently invited all fashion designers and fashion houses to attend a presentation highlighting the 5th instalment of the 2018 Durban Fashion Fair Mentorship Programme at Durban Botanic Gardens.

The Municipality initiated the programme to equip and expose fashion designers to various business and fashion skills which will enable them to be innovative and enhance their businesses. For those who get accepted, the programme will also help facilitate market and networking opportunities, leading to growth and sustainability of the emerging fashion designers’ businesses.
