PEOPLE from in and around Durban took part in the Let’s Gijima and get CANSA Active 5km family fun run on the Durban beachfront on 4 February, World Cancer Day.
The event took place between the Amphitheatre and uShaka Marine World and supported CANSA Durban, a local organisation that has been educating the public and offering support services for 40 years to cancer patients and their families.
This fun run was aimed at creating awareness about living a healthy lifestyle and the realisation that everyone can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
By ensuring your family has a healthier diet, exercises more regularly, by applying sunscreen and even by volunteering at CANSA, people can make a difference.
