GLENWOOD Preparatory’s three mathematics whizz kids recently returned from the exciting Primary School Problem Solving World Championships.
Their once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hong Kong incorporated sightseeing, a trip to ‘Disney World’, a visit to the world’s tallest Buddha, shopping at an exclusive market, as well as competing in both the individual and team maths problem solving contests.
The standard of mathematics was extremely high and the threesome, together with their Durban Girls’ College and Crawford La Lucia teammates, thoroughly enjoyed competing at this top level.
One of the pupils said the event was an unbelievable experience and that they would all love to go back again.
