Rotarians adopt pre-school
Stella Pre-school receives donated t-shirts thanks to Rotarians.
THE Rotary Club of Durban Umgeni has taken Stella Pre-Scool under its wing and has donated printed T-shirts for children and teachers at the school.
Theclub adopted the school and embarked on a number of fundraising efforts for the school throughout the year. Their last initiative, a Zumbathon, saw the club collect food itemsfor the Glenwood pre-school, which caters for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
“The special logo printing for the 110 T-shirts for the children were made in the four different age group categories of the children,” said Barbara Herridge
of the Rotary Club of Durban Umgeni.
The children proudly wore their new t-shirts at their musical extravaganza afternoon on Saturday, 14 September.
