Fraud suspect sought

Police are looking for Sandile Sabelo Ngobese in connection with a fraud investigation.

DETECTIVES from the Commercial Crime Unit in Durban are looking for Sandile Sabelo Ngobese (27) who is wanted in a fraud investigation. It is alleged that between April and September 2012 he took cash deposits from investors promising them 100 per cent interest in returns. He told them he was investing the money and they were issued with receipts from a receipt book. The investors did not receive their interest as promised, nor their initial capital.

The suspect was arrested and appeared in the Durban Commercial Crime Court where he was later released on bail. He was supposed to appear in court on 3 July 2013 but never appeared. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. He is suspected to be somewhere in Gauteng.
