UMBILO Community Policing Forum, UCPF executive invites residents to the final community meetings of the year on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 November.
The meeting will address crime trends and safety concerns in the specific areas now held in two different venues on separate days.
“The public is advised that these will be our last meetings for the year. SAPS will be unpacking their plans for this festive season so attendance is important,” UCPF Chairman, Ben Madokwe said.
Madokwe said the Northern area, Sector One under the command of Captain Rakesh Premid, includes Bulwer and Glenwood from Berea Road to François Road and South Ridge to the M4 will be held on the second Wednesday (13 November) of every month at 6pm in the Glenwood Junior School Hall (Alan Paton Road).
The Southern area, Sector Two under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Maneul Correa, includes Umbilo, Carrington Heights and Glenmore south of François Road to the Umbilo River and from the M4 to Cato bush will be held on the second Tuesday (12 November) of every month at 6pm in the Penzance Primary School hall (Esther Roberts Road).
The community is encouraged to attend these meeting and to interact with the CPF, the SAPS and their neighbours.
