THE Bulwer Community Safety Forum will host a night time vigil in their fight against prostitution, crime and grime in Glenwood.
“Please make an effort to come and join us in the fight to clean up our beloved Glenwood, to rid our community of the crime, grime and the increase in prostitution in Glenwood. Let’s reclaim our beautiful suburb,” said Heather Rorick, chairperson of the Bulwer Community Safety Forum.
The vigil takes place on Friday 29 November from 5pm until 11pm at Baxter Place, Clark Road, opposite Origin Night Club.
Supporters are encouraged to take along torches, candles, placards (preferably luminous ones), fold-up chairs and a flask of coffee or something to drink.
Place candles in a cut off two litre Coke bottle filled with sand, also put candles in the freezer beforehand so they last longer on the night.
“Let’s make this picket a big one. As with our previous picket on 23 October, it caused a big stir in all the newspapers, radio stations and even ENCA News channel. Glenwood has become hot news,” said Rorick, adding, “come show you care, unite and fight for your rights as a ratepayer and taxpayer.”
