DHS Matrics end their final exams on a high

Matric pupils celebrated the end of exams and their Durban High School careers on Monday.

DURBAN High School matrics did a celebratory jump to mark the end of their major final exams. They wrote English Paper 3 on Monday, 25 November and said that they were all ecstatic to be finished all their major exams.

“The finals I felt were much better than trials,” said Varnel Penniston.

Duncan Maccallum and William Ruan who were both looking forward to taking a gap year to travel – were glad to finally be done. “We are excited for rage and time off from hard studying,” said Maccallum.

Nihal Jhavary, who will be studying medicine next year, said that it was a relief to have had such a great paper and is now looking forward to seeing successful results.

On departure from the school, each matric learner was given The Durban High School year book which will be kept as a remembrance of their time at the school.
