Songs cheer up patients

Grade 3 pupils share the Valentine's Day spirit with patients at Life Entabeni Hospital.

AN excited group of Grade 3s from Durban Girls’ College, along with their teachers delighted doctors, patients, staff and visitors at Life Entabeni Hospital with a surprise Valentine’s Day visit on Friday.

The girls spread lots of love around the hospital as they sang their way enthusiastically through the wards and Life Rehabilitation unit holding red and white helium balloons. Patients were handed beautifully wrapped homemade heart-shaped cookies. Their visit was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and the singing created a wonderful, happy atmosphere which went a long way to cheer up patients, including those in the children’s ward.
