Young performers auditions
Calling young performers to audition for this year's PANSA Rainbow Young Performers show.
AUDITIONS for the 13th annual PANSA Rainbow Young Performers Production for 2014, Footloose, will be on 26 April at Durban High School from 9am to 5pm.
Directed by Themi Venturas, the show re-unites Daisy Spencer (choreographer) and Des Govender (vocal coach) the team that brought us Hairspray and Legally Blonde.
The team is looking for 30 talented young performers from KZN. Footloose has approximately 13 parts for males and 14 parts for females.
They will also be seeking musicians to make up the ‘live’ band.
Applicants must be able to sing, dance and act and must be available for rehearsal every weekend from 16 May to 22 June.
Previews and performances are from 28 June to 13 July. Applicants must be available for the whole audition to qualify
Applicants must wear comfortable clothing or gym gear and appropriate footwear and are to take their own refreshments and lunch.
