Buckets of love and hope

Get your school involved in supplying buckets of love and hope for children at Durban Children's Home.

DURBAN Children’s Home has launched a “bucket of love and hope” campaign where school children collect non-perishable food items to donate to children going home for the holidays.

For the first term the buckets were delivered to Holy Family College to fill with food that the children could take home for their school holiday visits.

These parcels ensured the children did not go to bed hungry and that they were provided with healthy nutritious meals until they returned to the home.

“Durban Children’s Home would like to thank Holy Family College for donating 75 buckets filled with love and hope to our children for their home visits. We also urge other schools to take part in this initiative and help us help those that need it most,” said Thina Hlophe.
