Support Highway Hospice fete
Highway Hospice is encouraging the public to help with donations for its year-end fete.

HIGHWAY Hospice is appealing to the public for support for its “big bash” Christmas fete.
The organisation is hoping to hold a “hand made with love” fete and appeals to the community for help.
People are needed to help with sewing. Hospice will supply fabric and appeals to the sewers to make cushion covers, aprons, bags, cellphone bags, peg bags, or anything else they can think of.
Hospice would love to have a stall filled with loads of lovingly made Christmas decorations, and appeals to the community for help with this.
Knitters and crocheters are needed to help make stuffed toys, baby clothes, scarves, and anything else they can think of. Hospice will supply the wool.
Very talented women who can make Christmas cakes and Christmas puddings are needed. Again Hopsice can help with ingredients. Bakers will also be needed closer to the day for fresh baked goods. If you can find the time to make some sweets such as fudges, candies, and anything else you can think of for the sweet stall it would be appreciated. People who are able to make pickles and jams are also urged to help in this regard.
Hospice is also looking for plants, herbs and pot plants, as well as any old pots, clothing, shoes, bags, and belts and items for the White Elephant and Pandora Stalls.
Drop donations off at Highway Hospice, 59 Locksley Drive, Sherwood. For collections, contact Cheryl on 031 208 6110.
