Three injured in CBD
Three people have been injured in incidents in Margaret Mncadi Road today.
THREE pedestrians have been injured in two separate incidents in Margaret Mncadi Street in Durban.
On the east-bound carriageway, a man was seriously injured after being hit by a motor vehicle. About 100m away in a separate incident on the west-bound carriageway, paramedics treated two people who had been hit by another vehicle. While the female patient had sustained serious injuries, the male patient’s injuries were described as being minor.
Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services and a local private ambulance service responded to the scene and treated the injured patients at both scenes, before transporting them to hospitals in the area for continued medical care.
The cause of both crashes is not known at this stage and will be investigated by the police
