THE next general meeting of the University of the 3RD Age is on Wednesday 7 October at 9am for 9.30am in the Glenwood Presbyterian Church hall (entrance in Evans Road).
Guest speaker will be Hlanganani Gumbi, the youngest member of the Provincial Legislature in KwaZulu-Natal where he represents the DA. He views the legislature as a platform where he can raise issues affecting young people in the province, such as unemployment, alcohol abuse and lack of access to opportunities.
Entrance is free for U3A members. Visitors welcome at R20 per person, and a donation (+- R5) for tea, which will be served before the meeting.
