Support CROW’s calendar initiative
A partnership between three committed companies, has led to the production of the Under the African Sky calendars, which support CROW every year.
EVERY year Under an African Sky, a Compass Medical Waste Services initiative, produces an A2 wall calendar which showcases South Africa's stunning wildlife, with all proceeds from the sale of this calendar going to CROW, South Africa's only wildlife rehabilitation centre committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of all injured and orphaned wildlife in KZN.
On an annual basis, CROW provides life-saving care and treatment to over 3 000 wild animals in distress before returning them to the wild.
RoGa Plastics has been involved in the calendar campaign since inception seven years ago and are passionate about the well-being of vulnerable animals.
''Someone needs to be a voice for the voiceless and this is exactly what CROW does. At RoGa we aim to help animals in distress and being part of the calendar campaign is our way of doing this,'' explains Gavin du Plessis, owner of RoGa Plastics.
As part of their corporate social responsibility, Nologo Studios, specialists in digital solutions, have been involved in the production and hosting of the Under an African Sky website.
In 2015, CROW celebrates 35 years of dedicated service to local wildlife conservation. While the organisation is very proud of reaching this significant milestone, it is also acutely aware that the need for its unique services is greater than ever before.
