Mended Hearts meet
People learnt more about their heart age at a Mended Hearts meeting on Monday.
THE Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa held its Mended Hearts support meeting at Entabeni Hospital on 28 September.
Guest speaker was Christelle Crickmore, the science and programme development manager at the Heart and Stroke Foundation SA. She gave a health talk and did free heart age screening for members.
These meetings are free to attend and are open to all, especially those who have suffered cardiovascular disease or a stroke event or know of a family member or a friend who has suffered such. For information on future meetings, contact 031 261 9055 or e-mail dana@heartfoundation.co.za.
