
THE deadline to apply for the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellowship Programme is fast approaching, with applications for Grade 12s closing on 29 April.
The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation believes that a solid education is the starting point for any entrepreneurial journey and its Fellowship opportunity is available to exceptional students who show entrepreneurial potential. The Foundation gives them the opportunity to develop into Southern Africa’s future high impact entrepreneurs.
The Fellowship includes a full university scholarship, mentorship, entrepreneurial mindset development and exposure to thought leaders. Access to postgraduate funding is available to those who excel in the Fellowship Programme and their undergraduate studies.
Mandatory requirements for Grade 12 learners are the intention to study a degree in commerce, science (excluding medicine), engineering, law or humanities (majoring in politics, philosophy or economics) at WITS, UJ, UCT, NMMU, Rhodes, UWC, Stellenbosch or UP, a level 5 in pure mathematics for Grade 11 results, a level 6 average for Grade 11 results (excluding life orientation) and the completion of the National Benchmark Test by 30 September.
