Suncoast Casino falls victim to hoax message
People receiving the message are urged to delete the message and not to forward it.
A MESSAGE circulating on social media claiming that people had been killed in a ceiling collapse at Suncoast Casino Hotels and Entertainment has been labelled a hoax by Suncoast management.

The message read: “Terrible news. Part of the ceiling at Suncoast Casino collapsed killing 11 people and injuring 15. Terrible. People screaming everywhere. It’s chaos. Police on the way. Poeple also started looting shops. It’s like a war zone. Keep away. Tell your friends. It’s terrible. Emergency Services on scene trying to maintain order. Utter chaos.”
According to a Whatsapp message on the Marshall Goup Media group, a small part of the Globe structure suffered damage in the gale force winds, but no injuries were reported.
