MOTORISTS travelling towards Southway Mall are advised to seek an alternative route following a shooting on the Umbilo arterial and Sarnia Road in which two men have been killed.
Both men were in their vehicle when they sustained multiple gunshot wounds. There was nothing paramedics could do for the victims who were declared deceased at the scene.

According to Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care, three lanes have been closed to traffic while police carry out investigations into the shooting, which has resulted in traffic backing up in the direction of Southway Mall. He advised motorists to avoid the area if possible.
