DURBAN Central detectives unit is appealing to the community for help with information on a culpable homicide case it is investigating.
Const Zanele Khomo from Durban Central SAPS said it is alleged that on 30 November 2019 at about 4.20am there was an accident on NMR Avenue near Moses Mabhida Stadium where a pedestrian was knocked down by an unknown vehicle.

“The man was taken to hospital where he later died due to his injuries. The deceased was then identified as Michael Hayne Bender and his date of birth is 24 April 1971. Anyone who can assist with the investigation or with information on his next of kin, is urged to contact Durban Central police,” said Khomo.
