The speaker for the morning was fashionista, Jeanie Nel, who shared her story on how to be successful in business.
HIRSCH’S Springfield Park hosted its monthly ladies network meeting recently, where speaker for the morning was fashionista, Jeanie Nel, who shared her story on how to be successful in business.
Jeanie started her business, Hatz by Jeanie, in 2007 but fully committed to it full-time in 2013. It has grown from strength to strength with her work being featured on runways, in the theatre, parliament and at the various horse races throughout South Africa.
“One of the most important things in business is networking and growing your network. You have to attend the meetings and work at it and you will see results,” said Jeanie.
Jeanie was also awarded the Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Achiever award for the month for her business. She trains women on how to make hats and was proud to announce to the audience that one of her hats was recently worn at the SONA and made it onto TV.
