A SECURITY guard at Greyville Racecourse was shot and killed by armed suspects at around 10am today (Tuesday, 3 March).
According to reports, the guard noticed the armed suspects and allegedly ran to the offices to notify people of the break-in when he was shot once in the chest. He died at the scene.

The armed robbers were said to have fled the scene in a white VW Polo with a NUR number plate.
SAPS are investigating.
